I voted miters but I have turnouts. I like how miters are hidden behind the cab. Plus they sound awesome!:thumbsup

Just depends on what truck the stacks are going on to me. I like bull haulers on duallys and I like mitres and turn outs on SRW.

When you get stacks, and live in a area where is snows/rains a lot, should that have an affect on your choice.

It's just that I love the mittre cut, but should I be afraid of water going were it is not wanted.
Thanks

Most of the miter cut stacks say they are used for over the road truckers, because of water and snow not getting a chance to build up. If you drive it everyday, it shouldn't be a problem. Or you can drill an 1/8th inch hole at the lowest point to let the moisture out.

I think it depends on the application

For my '04 3/4 ton, I want 6" mitre cuts,

Bullhaulers look good on duallys, but not on SRW trucks (IMHO)

Gotta love straight cut hood stacks on the pullin trucks,

And my Massey Ferguson 10hp Tecumseh garden tractor has a straight cut stack with a flapper on top.

I love the miter cut's for pretty much everything, And the bullhaulers are for duallys. I'm not a turnout fan because they stick up so high and look weird on a pickup. I do have a buddy who drives a f-250 powerjoke with straight cut stacks with flappers. The flappers are really cool and i'd like to see more rigs with them.

I personally will never put stacks on my truck though.
