Pretty sure the EZ lynk is like EFI live where your tunes depend on which custom tuner you go with.

From what I have taken from it and I would like to know myself if this is how it works, you pay to play so to speak. Then you get full access to the "cloud" that has all kinds of different tunes offered by your tuner that you in turn download and install onto your truck via your mobile device.

If that includes emission tuning and delete tuning, that would be a pretty sweet deal.

A valve body would allow you to up the line pressure which I would assume require a custom file.

 

I'm not sure if anyone has emissions compliant tuning released for EZ Lynk yet...

 

HPP does, I'm running theirs. Very solid tune

 

I think Calibrated Power is has a full intact tune, i don't intend to ever find out unless i have to though

 

Sounds like there are multiple tuners offering emissions and non-emmsions (offroad/race) tunes. I just got an EZ lynk from Starlite diesel and they uploaded both for me with my purchase of their SOTF tune set. They also included TCM tunes and non TCM tunes to boot.

can you just use the Ez-lynk to change the tire size without unlocking? I will be deleting but I'm waiting a bit longer before I bite the bullet and loose my warranty. If I could buy it now to change the tire size and use it for monitoring for now it would be great for me!

Yep PPEI does. Very good tunes also. I don't really know if you can monitor things with out the tuning but i don't see why you couldn't. Id say call a dealer and ask before you spend the money.

you can just get the ez-lynk without any support pack. It allows you to change tire size without installation of a tune

 

So I don't need to unlock the ECM to do that? I won't loose my warranty? Thanks

and when you will want to unlock the ecm you'll just need to buy the tune package from a tuner and that's it?

 

yes and you will also use the unlock cable that comes with the EZ-Lynk
