Going to start off by saying I hate electrical cause I don't understand it but I'm to proud and to poor to take it in.
My 2007 is throwing a p2509 code. Today I went to start it and it made this pop noise 2/3 times I started it. I have kinda had electrical problems for a minute but I just chalked it up to getting bad batteries as it blew up 2 both on the passenger side. Both times this happened that code came up. But with this set the truck has been fine for 6+ months driving daily and some long drives as well. With the truck off the volts read 12.94 drivers and 13.30 pass. When running 14.4s drivers and 16.7s pass.
Possibly related to my problem are my after market taillights for 2 years no issues but for the last 6 months it acts like the driver side is out blinking fast on that side and the chime comes on with a left blinker or me hitting the breaks. The taillight lights up on blinker and when breaks are hit, right side blinks at normal speed.
So idk where to begin I don't want to drive it around if it's gonna blow a battery again. Any help would be greatly appreciated
