The time has come for me to be talking like normal people do when they ride in their trucks and to be able to listen to their tunes!
I getting ready to buy something to keep the outside noises out and use a sound deadner material. I need your opinions out there.
Is Dynamat a good product or is there other stuff out there I can utilize to do this project?
Thanks,
Steve

dynamat is a good product. Are you going to strip down the interior and do the cab or do the engine bay. if your doing the interior theres a few products that you can brush on and imo works better than the mats.

I'm doing the interior cab, the doors and any other area I can. I'm open for any suggestions.
Thanks

I have the dynamat through out the cab. I have it on the front doors, quad doors and the back of the cab. I even put thicker material on for a headliner. I don't think the mat did much good to tell you the trueth. I have 5" stack and it will still drown you out in there.

Yea, know what you mean that why I'm asking if anyone has had any success using any other materials before I go wasting money on stuff that won't work.

Thanks for bearing with me. A good cheap way to do it that works really well is a product called transtar undercoating part #4361. You can buy it buy the gallon or spray can. about 35.00 a gallon. it stays soft and flexible, seals out water and deadens sound. it doesn't leave big patches uncovered like a lot of pads do. You can also use a do it yourself bedliner kit. SEM 39630, Gator guard BGG21, are good urethane bedliners that will deaden sound well, they dry hard and seal out moisture.you can get them in black or tintable and do some crazy colors in your cab:thumbsup. about 175.00-250'ish range for 1.5 gallons. Fusor adhesives makes a product called 804 sound deadener. best sound killing stuff i've ever seen. thick, flexible but expensive. about three hundred for the product and specialized gun. :$:

Thanks much. I'll start researching which one I'll use and let you know what results I get.
I'm going to see which one has the least odor, esp. after it dries.
Thanks again for sharing that info.

Do you guys sell that over at Wyoming Automotive? Since I'm coming there for paint already I may have to grab a gallon of the undercoat.

Thanks,
