13 is going to be SCR, have DEF.
12-13 2500 same frame and front end
13 3500 new frame and front end

I had a 12 and then a 13. My 12 was the most expensive truck I’ve ever had to operate, fuel mileage was horrible, oil change interval was horrible due to frequent regen cycles. My 13 is the best/ most capable truck I have ever owned by a long shot.

I would shop 13 or newer 3500 or 14 or newer 2500.
