yeah but i dont know what for codes tho, it said where the miles are "no bus" and its a 2000 2500,

 

:coocooliberator performance in carlisle is charging me 1100 for a computer. they said they r seening alot of computers r goin out of the cummins now adays. they also said that they r gettin the computer from cummins and they send it blank, so they have to take it to a dealership and have them program it ... WTF. i called them and said if im payin that much, i wanna keep the old. there answer was that there is a 400 core charge. sounds to me like they got me by the balls, and r takin me for all the money i have.

 

Sounds fishy to me. I'd take it somewhere else and get another look at it before they do it. Especially for $1100

 

find a cluster outta another truck and see if that one works....:thumbsup:

i know that much, just sayin that maybe it's just the cluster, NOT the ECM...:thumbsup:

 

Mine went out to but it throws that says my network cable is junk<---not the tech word. but its like $200+ and the say it probably not the cable but the ecm ports??

 

yeah i am havin my sister pick it up tomorrow from them, i think its total bs . i called a few dealerships, they told me maybe a voltage problem, and and the other said they hardy ever see that happen. i use to drive a VW gti. and when it broke down, crap aint cheap, and i thought stuff would be cheap for the truck, haha i was wrong, but i guess badass stuff isnt cheap ... ,

Same thing happened to me...turned out I had a bad ground. Easy fix!

 

ok, so i call sean at liberator. he tells me that they have to stick the computer back in cuz they took it out. reminder this was tuesday when he took it out . and now it took all day and then some, cuz he i got off work and he wont answer my calls, WTF
