Has anyone had any expierence with the DAP brand of injectors off jkidds site? Im debating on getting a set of those or a set of PODS and i no the PODS have a good rep and havent really heard of the DAP.

Pods would be a step down from what you have.

I have a set of 5x14s. They make alot more power than my stock sticks, really woke the truck up! I am running a 57/65/12 turbo and now I am fighting crazy hot egts even with meth injection. For some reason it took more like a month than the week he said for the injectors to ship, but he said that was do to his vendor who set the pop pressure shipping them back to him instead of me. Other than the long wait getting them I am very happy with them, my club cab 2wd gets 17mpg and I still like to put my foot in it often so it may do even better once i get tired of wooping on sports cars!

Is it a s300g ?? or hx35-40 hyrbird ?? Also thats odd because i have heard of guys running that size turbo with sdx 5x14's and there fine have also heard of guys with hx35 and he351cw's running sdx 5x14s and there fine and also guys running same combo with those size injectors, one guy even told me he has a 351cw with 5x14sdx and he pulls a 32 ft camper trailer and his egts are fine

Swap that 57 out for a 62 and it'll cool off just fine. Even better yet, go to a 62 and some 7 hole injectors and it'll be even cooler :party018:

Also...I didn't know PODs had a good reputation :rof They're cheap...but, that's about it.

They guy before me said they were "100hp" but idk about all that. Im thinkin about the 5x.014's as another possibilty. Im swappin injectors because i gotta bad vibration and im thinkin that the injectors are the cause.

Also, were on my current injectors would i look to find out what they are?

youd probably have to pull one and take it to a machine shop or some place with a set of pin gauges to find out the diameter of the orifices. i doubt you can find out much more than the size and pop pressures unless the old owner can help you out.

I don't know what ya got, but just because the injector body has that number on it doesn't mean they don't have different tips, pintle work, etc.

All bodies are factory nobody is making their own bodies they are getting them straight from bosch and they just make their own tips .

Why don't you just send them to an injection shop and have them tested? Might just have a stuck poppet or plugged tip. Be a lot cheaper than a new set of injectors.
