Either 1.) he's full of it.. 2.) his pyro is inaccurate.. Or 3.) they aren't 250's. I can see almost 1550* on HARD run with my juice on 6 with stock injectors.

maybe if he has his max egt limit set in the edge. those are gonna be HOT regardless. imo, find something else.

 

Good possibility, didn't think of that. But I'd imagine that defuel would hit in less than 3 seconds with 250's on a stock charger

 

Get injector specs. Hp ratings dont mean jack.

 

Alright. It does smoke like 250s and he can hit 57 psi on the hx. I'm about to put twins on mine and need bigger than 150's so I might just trade him and see what happens. Ill turn his edge off and see how it smokes cause I know how 250's are without a box. Ill get specs asap

that is not an indication of injector size.

 

57 psi on hx 35 that seems little high? I heard of them blowing up around 45 psi. I think something is up that's what I think tho.

Those seem pretty fishy.. "250"s with a stock hx35 like come on. 1400 wouldnt even be close to how hot that would be. I did a 0-60 run with my 7x.010 VCO from FBD with a stock hx back in july and I almost hit 1700 it was like 1660.

 

You hit 1700 because you have VCO nozzles from FBD. There injector quality is junk.

 

Smoke isn't an indication of how big an injector is either. Get a damn hole count and pin the size. That's the only determining factor.

 

OP, im basically your neighbor. Got any after market lift pumps, injectors, or gauges for sale?

And yes he's wanting to trade because he's afraid the hx is gonna explode. I had a hx on my old p24v and the first time I got on it the gauge hit 62psi and the hx exploded. Lol

Yeah you really shouldn't be going over 38psi on an hx35 lol. Something's definitely fishy. If they were true 250's on a stock turbo, you'd melt down the motor so fast... You surly would be over 1400*. Hell, I can see 1450* pretty quick with my 100 sticks.
