I’m currently in the process of taking care of some rust on my frame and doing some weight reduction of getting rid of unnecessary stuff on my truck. I stumbled upon all my wires from doing the DPF delete and getting rid of the 02 sensors with all the dummy connectors and was gonna pull them. Traced the wires to this Bosch module on the passenger side of the frame. They aren’t hooked up to anything since they’re all capped off but found one hooked to trans on the top left side of the trans.

My question is, does anyone know if I can remove the module, cut the wires off at the connector for the trans and it’ll be good? I’ll attach a picture of the module found with all the loose wires.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Trucks a 2012 and has been deleted if anyone needs the info.

I cut them and a lot of other old emission wires and taped them , no problems. I always make sure they are dead ended wires so I know they didn't do anything anymore. FWIW, Some are 12v ign. and others are various lower voltages. The 12v wires are nice for ign. control for added accessories. Craig

Did you pull the module off too or leave It there plugged in? From my understanding it’s just an 02 oxygen sensor module and shouldn’t have any effect on the truck since it doesn’t have 02 senors. I might end up pulling the module off the frame and cutting the wires somewhat near the plug for the trans and tape the ends off.

I removed the Bosch box already, Sinister Coolant filter in it's place but I need to remove the extra wiring. Might be able to use the extra length when I long bed this thing. I gotta find room for the bypass filter... I think the filter system is supposed to be installed around the same area... I'm running outta room. LULZ!

1 of the plugs on the passenger side of the truck, wired in with the Bosch box on the frame but plugs into your tranny I'd keep plugged.
It's the pressure sensor. So if u kill all the wires that are there you will not be able to read your tranny line pressure. It will only show the max # that your guage will read. Cts2 or any obd2 guage for line pressure will be useless.
