So I bought this 09 border patrol truck with a blown hemi and 97,000 original miles and I am putting an 08 cummins driveline in it. Decided to post progress as I go with pics. As soon as I can get my computer to cooperate with me

show and tell

So I got some photos today. So lets go over the project I swapped the motor, trans and transfercase all bolted together. Lifted the cab and bolted it down everything went right into place. It really was plug and play. I replaced the under hood harness and plugged it into the dash harness. Turns out the 2009 gasser has all the plug ins for everything even though it was an ST truck. It now has power pedals, exhaust brake, electronic transfercase. I also have the overhead console to install but I have to get a different headliner for that.

I didn't have a fan clutch or shroud so I installed an electric fan. New radiator, condensor, and a banks technicooler since I had to change all the gasser coolers to a diesel.

76,000 Here! 50,000 miles a year for me! You? I like your bumpers! I am making a carbon fiber baja style bumper right now, with receiver mount winch.
