Boost pressure defueling level?

I have a 2012 6.7 Cummins with a H&S Mini Maxx tuner. I have the EGR and DPF deleted, 5” exhaust and a S&B cold air intake.
The boost pressure defueling level is set at 29 psi.
my question is can I safely raise that level because I’m reaching that level with barely even getting on it?

The stock OEM charger is a cork. Dont worry about boost #s with it. You need to have every defuel shut off for your MY.
Thats when you may poke a hole in your HG. Timing is not brought back when it defuels again for your MY.
Get your power setting and timing chosen to match and leave it there. SOTF with the Mini is not as helpful as it seems. It only changes fueling but not the timing. Thats where the HG issues started.

Ball park drive pressure on stock charger with stock parameters is about 1.5 - so your 29x1.5 = about 43.5 psi drive pressure. Anything above 45psi IMO is playing with fire. Some hold more and some hold less. Your stock charger MAP is only good for about 32psi so you are pretty much maxed out where you are for the stock charger.

If you are looking for some more power the third gen Iron Horn Kits are an affordable option or a 2nd gen swap which is a bit more pricey. Both options are very popular since you are able to run much larger boost numbers and lower drive pressures (have a 1:1 ratio which is ideal). Let me know if you have questions about a turbo upgrade or kit

Everyone above is correct... IMO you are running ancient tunes with the H&S... They did allot of good for us when the 6.7's came out, technology advanced, those tunes didn't due to... well....anyways....the early tunes (H&S) as well as others had too much timing and defuel limits set in them... at the time, technology said it was good.. now we know its not...

theses issues caused 6.7 cummins to catch a wrap of floating heads and blowing HG and crazy Drive pressures.... when you listen to real engine builders talk, timing killed these things.... nothing else...

If you want to save money, keep your foot out of it. If you want to "truck" your truck... get better tuning asap.... If you want to "beat" your truck, get better tuning and order a built trans...

I would check out the manufacture specifications. On 2015 35H I have the banks monster elbow kit and combined with monster pedal. And is also deleted. On normal drive I get from zero to 12 psi on normal takeoff no more than 1800rpms if I hit 2500 rpm’s I get around 22-25 psi’s. WOL. That’s my 5cents.
