Has it always done this or did it just start? Sounds like just the general condensation burning off exhaust pipes, or maybe you have a cooler boot leaking a touch and sucking extra air.

 

I just noticed it a few weeks ago.

I had that happened but it was right after my oil change after 3000 miles I change it again and it was gone my guess is I overfill it

Well I just changed my oil. But it appears to be ok on the dip stick so i dont know. What it would be. Jus a little worried because I used to have a ford an it had a lot of injector probs

its likely not injector problems, they dont often fail on a stock 6.7.. but i guess it always could be given the symptoms. I would do a boost leak test on it first.

 

How do you do that??

Did you check the level before you started in the morning? Mine show it was right at the top line maybe drain a little and see what happens....the way you describe it its the exact same way mine was....I was just as scared cuz it was after deletes

Yeah. Hopefully it's not a problem I'll check it tomorrow before I start it. An see what the level is. Do a boost leak test It wasn't doing it till after I did the egr an throttle valve delete

did you delete the cooler as well? and if not, is your coolant level moving at all? EGR coolers tend to fail more when the EGR is deleted and not the cooler, and that would cause a coolant leak into the exhaust

 

Yeah I deleted every thing strait pipe all the way no emissions equipment.

One of the mechanics at my wifes job told me it was unburnt fuel residue on the exhaust I don't know how true that is but its an option

I have no idea. It could be that. Or a boost leak or somethin like the other guy said. I'll just have to do some checking. My mini maxx will show a max boost of 32 if I floor it on the stock setting.

it could be the beginning of a injector issue. How frequent is your filter replacement interval.. consider adding additional filteration.. Perhaps some injector cleaner and a hard pull for a few hours.

 

I change it every other oil change so 14000. If I turn the key on an let it sit before starting it won't do it but its summer so i dont know. I put some Lucus injector cleaner in it this full up
