The ECM alone would cost more than a tuner, a dpf delete, and and EGR delete. It would be cool to see one, but once you got it you couldn't tune it with any programmer and you would probably build a regular truck to the same level for cheaper.

 

I doubt it. The Canadians do not need the EGR and DPF for their regulations, but are sold with them anyways. I don't think they would build a separate version for other countries. That would be expensive.

 

I though I heard in places like mexico and such they were still shipping 5.9 ltrs. I could be wrong though.

even the mexico Cab & chassis called the RAM 4000 uses the 5.9

 

Last November we upgraded our ranch trucks and bought 3 2008 Ram 4000 with the 5.9 Cummins. These trucks replaced 3 Ram 4000 with the 5.9 V8. New trucks are only offered with a 6 speed manual and the ones we bought don't have a/c. The interior is very very work truck, i.e. not many commodities.

yes in mexico they still have a 5.9 even in power wagon look alikes thats what a friend of mine that goes to school with me is from over there where they are manufactured.

 

I have heard from several military guys that the Country of Jordan has the 6.7 Dodge in trucks there and there is no emissions on them... I have been wondering about checking with my dealer's tech to see if he could flash my old '07 with the flash from the Country of Jordan's software to see how it works...

I know the tech told me some time ago that he figured they had them like this, but he didn't know what country that would have them without the emissions... I will have to ask him about this next time I am over there at the dealer, but right now I am working on swapping all the stuff on my 07 to my new 09' truck...

 

That is hogwash they put 5.9s in em down there. I wish they mistakenly put one in my truck when it was built in Saltillo.

 

ya thats where my buddy is from he said over there you can buy a truck strait from the factory. and he has a half ton powerwagon it looks nice. but here in america all he has is a half ton over here over there its called a 2500 4x4.

 

A local guy from my town has a 09' with a 5.9 in it.. he bought it in Mexico.
