2012 Stock Fog Light ?

Guys,
Got a weird question about my completely stock 2012 3500 fog lights. Do your fog lights come on in AUTO mode when it is daylight out. When I rotate the switch to parking or headlights the fog lights do come on. But was just wondering if fog lights come on in auto mode in daylight? I know what the manual says, but I thought my fog lights were on all the time regardless of light selection position. Maybe I'm losing my marbles.

Yes they come on as long as the middle button is pushed. You will see a green symbol on your instrument panel indicating that dogs are on

So your green light on dash comes on in the daytime on auto dial position?

do you have a bunch of crap on the dash covering the ambient light sensor?

Mine don't do that. Sounds like your daylight sensor or headlight switch is gone/going bad.

They shouldn't come on during the daytime unless you manually turn the lights on. In auto they won't come on until it gets dark.
