2012 shutting down under hard acceleration

Every once in a while during hard acceleration my truck will almost completely die, falls on it's face, pours black smoke, and stumbles until I let out of the throttle and then I can get back into it. It mostly does it coming out of turns and it's done it both with and without the traction control turned off. I've never had long enough to study the dash to see if any lights come on or flash, and I can't make it do it when I want, it only does it when I least expect it. Saturday night I entered it into the local truck pulls, putting it in 4 low disables the traction control so I figured it would be fine. As soon as I let it shift into second and went to full throttle it did it again, the sled almost hit my rear bumper, I let out of it, got back into it, and as soon as the chain tightened and the tires started spinning it did it again, so it's not just a situation in 2wd but it has something to do with the tires spinning. My truck is auto, fully deleted with a mini max. Any thoughts?

Is your throttle valve still plugged in?
Also what tune and timing are you running just for kicks.

This happen to me over the weekend. First time ever no codes. I was making a u turn with oncoming traffic and it fell on its face. Where's this throttle valve located ? Thanks in advance

Just food for thought. My 2011 does this all the time if I hammer it on the majority of the Smarty tunes. I now run the N tune on SW1 and the problem has gone away. According to my Dodge dealer, the tune is causing the waste gate valve to open under certain conditions, like hammering it,, and dumping the power. This has happened on every tune and I have them all, with the exception of the N tune. N tune on sw 3 & 5 it does it but not on sw1. But I am not sled pulling etc...just wanted MPG's....

Have had same problem with 08 s67me sw5 egr& dpf delete ARP studs first head gasket and planed head second time since deletes.... no traction control so I don't think that would be the issue
