Every once in a while during hard acceleration my truck will almost completely die, falls on it's face, pours black smoke, and stumbles until I let out of the throttle and then I can get back into it. It mostly does it coming out of turns and it's done it both with and without the traction control turned off. I've never had long enough to study the dash to see if any lights come on or flash, and I can't make it do it when I want, it only does it when I least expect it. Saturday night I entered it into the local truck pulls, putting it in 4 low disables the traction control so I figured it would be fine. As soon as I let it shift into second and went to full throttle it did it again, the sled almost hit my rear bumper, I let out of it, got back into it, and as soon as the chain tightened and the tires started spinning it did it again, so it's not just a situation in 2wd but it has something to do with the tires spinning. My truck is auto, fully deleted with a mini max. Any thoughts?
