Thanks, just price checked at $60; twice the price of the non-Fleetquard products. I'm ok with that if we're getting twice the value...

 

Not sure if 60$ is an accurate fleetguard price. Normally I pay a fair bit more in Canada.
Mopar pricing is horrendous on this piece.

 

No tip/trick to doing this. Take the batwing off, 8 or so bolts to take the cover off, slip the old filter out, new filter in. Reset indicator.

Just be careful, Amazon is full of fakes.

 

Watch where you put the old one. Mine didn't look oily, I put it on the garage floor. Spent more time cleaning up the oil stain than installing the new one.

I thought it would more likely be genuine if "Fleetguard"is impressed on the filter...

 

Those clones are pretty authentic looking , unless you’ve got them side by side it’s doubtful you could tell , especially those Mopar fuel filters , they’ve fooled many .

 

China fake is pretty good at what they do OP. Like said above, I'd risk a fake CCV, but don't get in the habit for other filters... far to many bad stories about fake fuel filters on here.
