Is there any other way to DPF delete without buying a 1000-1200 dollar tuner?

correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't your CEL stay on if you just use the sims? Not that it hurts anything, but I'm kind of interested in this too (considering a 2010 or 2011)

I have a 2010 running home made sims with pressure sensor still hooked up with the rubber lines removed and have gone 5,000KM With no CEL or Catylast full message. Im using the 100 ohm resistor, with all the O2 bungs in place.

Good deal

On my end I always have to throw at the worst case scenario. I have seen the trucks like yours where there have been no CEL's at first and others that get them instantly.

Thanks guys for the responses. I understand where the guys are coming with the sims and all (bear with me, this is my first diesel, let alone I don't know a whole lot about engines).

In order for it to pass emissions, the CEL has to be off.

In your opinions, do you think a Black Maxx is worth it in the long run?

I want to turbo-back 7" stacks on my 2010 CC LB SLT 6-Speed.

Yeah, I've been looking at the Mini Maxx....Whats the difference between that and the larger one? Is it just size?

Git R Done. I'll have to contact him (RSD) about some products. I've heard good things about the company....

+1 on James at RSD! Ordered my 5 in tbe this morning from him and he was more than helpful and got me taken care of quick and easy! Now all I gotta do is wait for my stuff to arrive and get it slapped on. I can't wait till I save up some money this fall and order either the blackmaxx or minimaxx.
