Ok, so I am going to start this thread now and keep up with it while I install and build up my truck. I bought this truck from a member on here around October last year. I kept it mostly stock besides a smarty, 5 inch exhaust and gauges. Im hoping for real power adders come spring of 2013 but time will tell with that. Here is what I am going to be installing when I get home. Im going to try to post as many pictures as I can and answer as many questions as I can because these will be basic modifications that a lot of people will end up doing to their truck at one point in time.

Goerend transmission, built by Brain Wilson in rising sun MD- He is installing this for me while I am still away.
Air Dog II 165
Helman Fuel sump
Autometer column pod
Autometer fuel and rail pressure gauges
double din head unit
doule din head unit bezel
Motorsport cp3
ARP 425 headstuds
EFI live
Replacing the drivers seat foam and controls
GDP fuel filter delete
Torque converter lock up switch

I would like this thread to be able to help someone and so that I can also track my progress as I keep adding more and more into my truck. If you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to add!

I also may be adding an AGP 66 to this list but right now that is undecided as I am still talking with them about it.

Yeah that's true. After turning in my sensitive iteams and getting my 72 hour pass signed I always got a to my storage unit opened it up and take the truck for a spin. How much is having the goerned done by a trans shop gonna run you? I have read the goerend is a good setup and I don't feel like spending a ton on an crate ATS built transmission. Also good choice with the EFI live.

All of the internals are Goerends. But since they arent shipping full units right now or even taking orders I had someone build it for me. He just happens to be a buddy of mine and is local. Goerend uses him to build transmissions in this area when they cannot get them out. It comes with the same converter warranty and all just not the 3 yr/100,000 warranty.

It ran me right around 5700 for him to remove, build, and install it. Oh and the sweet paint job:party018:

Awesome, had my truck there this summer. Some of my friends take their trucks to him and have nothin but good things to say about him, and I also agree with that. Wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

Should be a fun exciting build buddy...
What have you heard or why are you going with the sump? I haven't heard much about it...

Thanks for you service... I got back in May from my 2nd tour in afghan and got out in July.

Crazy... Im in the same hole and get home around the same time too. We have very similar builds. Except I think I'm going manual pump and Vulcan drawstraw since I off road a lot. Didn't know that goerend wasn't building trannies...I was going to order one next week.. Nice build!! I'll be watching your progress!!

if you make it to a place called Fob Fenty let me know and you can come over and check out my compound. Good luck and stay safe. I got 6 months left in this suckhole.

With a sump you'll prob need one unless there are some check valves in the AD set up? When you pull the filters your tank will drain with a sump AFAIK unless you put a ball valve on the outlet of the sump headed to your pump. Sorry DODGE74 had to give him a heads up, he might give me a heads up one of these days.

Did you ever hear anymore information about the 66? Do you think it will do 500?

AGP led me to believe that they wanted me to run one of their chargers and do a review and right up on it so that they could have some solid data. That was a few days ago and I have not heard anything back from them since then. So if I dont hear anyhitng I will keep my stocker.

Guess I missed that apparently my reading comprehension isnt so great. How long do you plan to run a stock charger?
I plan on running my stock charger for the winter and possibly the spring. Then I would like to step it up to something larger. I like what I hear on the s467.7 with some 15-hp injectors. I def dont want to go as large as Jim because I want to be able to detune the truck to arounf 600 for daily then crank it up when I hit the track. But thats all in the air.

The 67 will do you good with the 150's plenty of air for what you want to do.

Yea, I saw that one. I have spent enough money on this thing lately. I need to take a break before I start getting into turbo and injectors and manifold. Plus valve train lol.

When I got here the truck had a stock trans and nothing more then a intake and exhaust and 3 gauges.

:hehe:.... Tell me about it... I bought my truck in January and it was pretty much all stock besides 2 gauges that got removed, 4 inch mbrp exhaust and a intake... Talk about going over board.

Not me... After everything I put into this truck... I will be buried in it... I promise... No loans all cash and a angry wife... So trust me... If it goes... So do I... The wife would kill me.Im surprised she's put up with everything she has this year...:S:
