12V PLUG IN! Help only 1 working!

Hello guys, I got a my sirius pluged in the botom 12v plug and its working but I cannot plug it in the other one there is no power.. even with a cell charger only the botom plug works..

Is there a fuse to chek for this or I need a new plug and where is the cheapest place online to order it? I bet my dealer will STEAL me so I might as well ask here!

mine does the same thing i have to plug my sirius in the top plug and switch when i need to charge my phone because the bottom one doesnt work

Well, look for a blown fuse if it don't work with the key "ON". Any parts store will have a 12 volt socket avalaible.

ya mine does it too my top one works but the bottom one dont..... its a dodge

It's not a Dodge problem. As Dozer said check fuses....

If I remember right...

Cigarette lighter plug is a fuse in the cab..

Power Point plug is a fuse in the PDC under the hood...

If for some reason you have to replace the socket and don't use the cigarette lighter, I found the sockets at RadioShack (the one that comes with a bracket to mount that you will not use) to fit nicely into the factory outlet hole. You just have to connect the factory wires up to the new wires, or just run new wires directly to battery or another fused location.

Um...are you checking with the key ON?

One is key-switched.

One is battery-hot (constant).

12V PLUG IN! Help only 1 working!
