Hi All, First time posting but have done alot of reading and for that I thank you. I thought I would come to the experts for this question.
I am considering a programmer and have found 2 I am interested in, they are
Bd's x tuner (not ultra or anything just good old original) $200ish
or
Bully dog triple dog downloader model 40500 $250 range.
What are your thoughts on either, Does one do more than the other? on the xtuner it had no options except for the performance programming and reading the codes. I am not sure what the dog will do beyond that. My main goal is to get a little better fuel economy hauling my trailer (daily) I tried the xtuner today and it gave a lot more pep. I will only be using the tow setting on a regular basis. Any input you can give would be great. Does it actually save fuel if I drive "normally"?
