Does anyone know how the XRT hp numbers are figured, are they dyno numbers? Is it as simple as adding up the numbers and that is the amount that i have, for instance stock horsepower 345?? plus the 175 tune= 520 ?????:confused013::confused013:I know we all lose HP through the drive train and all that good stuff, im just curious

A lot depends on your modifications and its a complex process.

The 175 tune is calculated at the rear wheels. Stock 6.7's are usually in the 260-280 rwhp range. So it "should" put your truck around 430-450.

the pickups are 350 right??? we have put a couple stock 6.7's on the dyno and they both did right around 350. wich i thought was pritty impressive for compleatly stock.

I think they are 350 at the crank mine did 293 to the wheels stock

Our tunes are named from dyno numbers obtained on our Mustang 1100 SE load dyno. Stock is generally between 275-305 to the rear wheels, so adding 175 will put you between 450-480. Obviously there is huge differences from truck to truck, and some trucks will dyno a little more or a little less. The average readings we see at our shop with the 175 tune loaded up is 455 and 1050 on torque.
