They will not ban these, as much as they want to, its not going to happen. They will probably get the hi cap mags, federal back ground checks and some sort of mental issue reporting process. But they wont get the weapons ban.
Congress has already stated they will not fund any weapons ban. Executive Orders are useless without funding.
executive orders only apply to the executive branch. they cant be enforced directly on civilians.
i think you are missing the point of the pending legislation. registration, ban of the future sales and non transferable grandfathered weapons are back door confiscation. in SEN feinstein's own words its a means to dry up the supply of weapons over time. if you think this is okay, understand that accepting this is folly and we will all pay dearly. your post tells me its only okay to steal my rights away a little at a time not all at once.
I think you under estimate the level of stupid rampant in our aristocracy and amongst the voters that choose them.
sure she wont confiscate our guns but give her a generation and they will be no more. plus if the fears are true, the bad guys know where to come and get you since you registered those guns.
im off the soap box but please understand its a little hard for me to digest after 20 years of defending and supporting the constitution of the US, fighting in 3 conflicts in the middle east and continuing to serve today.:flag1:
