This is actually a cheap and easy mod...

Napa has cardone calipers (3rd gen years, for $55), they come with the brackets

Grab 3rd gen rotors and pads...

Bolt them on and roll.

The 3rd gen calipers i bought are still in the box....i just used the brackets, rotos and pads...
autozone sells just the brackets, i think they were about $28

When i say 3rd gen, i usually ask for 06. Middle ground and all.should be uniform at that year.

1994-1999 use parallel ball joints. 2000-2002 use opposing ball joint angles.
Has anybody figured out why they changed to that design??? Does it give better return to center characteristics or what?

So I did this when I bought the truck back in 2013. I have put 130,000 miles on these brakes and have only lost 2% rotor surface and still on the same brake pads. NAPA Premiums Just going to say best thing ever.
