12valve should start right away regardless of grids/ no grids or advanced timing . ( with in reason ) .
Check filters , Fuel shut off solenoid and especially fuel pressure / fuel pump .
IF you have to prime the fuel pump via the lil rubber pumper ( say more than 2 pumps ) , air is entering the fuel loop somewhere
I'm having to replace my filter pretty often and want to put an oiled pre filter wrap on it. Does anyone make one for this filter? My searching only turns up a net bag to put over it I guess to keep out bugs and stuff. I want the oiled foam wrap. Thanks in advance for any input.
