how far can you push it? what kind of horse over stock is safe and when would it be getting ready to break?

Not far at all, really anything you add will make them start to slip

haha yeah, well if it breaks that just means you fix it with something stronger! but im told that costs money..

wow that really awnsered his question the awnser is you can put about 90 to 100 hp over stock but will wear out twice as fast without a good TQ my other truck has a stock tranny rebuild with a BD triple disc TQ and about 450HP and works just fine so a complete stock tranny depending on how many miles on it woulding go over 90hp. plus your typical 47RE if thats what your using at about 120,000 they just go out all at once

I burnt my stock tranny with a Compition shift kit with a superchip and a HX-35 upgrade in about 40k... Not that powerful... maybe 250hp, but a heavy right foot killed it pretty easily.

yeah when i first got my truck i nuked my tranny stock with nothing on it at 125,000. overall autos dont belong behind diesels in my opinion as a truck driver
