installed my autometer sportcomp 2 gauges (pyrometer and boost) boost lights up and works and my pyormeter wont light up but it works! any reason for this???

how many wires are coming out of the back of the pyro?

its a BRAND NEW wiring harness, the old one the bed haha. so everything should work... wired up properly... just not sure whats wrong

i figured... haha i just wanted to know if there was a power/ground for the pyro and a seperate power/ground for the illumination

yea its grounded and both wires are getting power... when i bought the truck the gauges where in it but the pryometer never lit up.. then one day it turned on for a minute then went out and never worked again so i was hoping a new wiring harness would fix it but nope!

more than likely a short in the gauge socket itself...or a faulty bulb?

If I'm not mistaken, SportComp IIs are LED-lit, correct? If that's the case, I'd bet you've got a faulty gauge. Send 'er back to Auto Meter and let them deal with it :thumbsup:
