i have been looking around for some diagrams and cant find anything without havin to pay $20 for a limited time electronic copy.

i am tryin to install an alarm system but without any diagrams i am not able to find all the wires i need to splice in order to get everything to work the way it should.

do any of you know of a place i can get a complete wiring diagram for my truck. preferably a paper copy so i dont have to worry about not having it later down the road.

its an autopage rf-315

If memory serves me right this is what you'll need for that alarm:

light tester and voltmeter
good connectors or solder gun

Constant 12V+ Pink/Black or Red Ignition Switch Harness
Starter Yellow or Blue/Yellow Ignition Switch Harness
Ignition Dark Blue Ignition Switch Harness
Parking Lights Black/Yellow (+) Driver's Kick Panel
Door Trigger Yellow (-) Driver's Kick Panel White Connector Driver's Kick

The door locks are reverse polarity, now if the alarm is capable of direct wiring then follow the instructions. If not then relays are going to have to be used.

Here's a diagram, Car Security and Convenience, Power Door Locks, Multiple Wire Systems, Add Auto Lock/Unlock for wiring the relays [Bosch 30 amp], should only be a couple bucks each.

Door Lock Orange/Purple (REV) 10 Pin Connector Driver's Kick Panel Reverse Polarity
Door Unlock Pink/Purple Driver's Kick Panel
Driver's Lock Orange/Black Left Kick Panel
Driver's Unlock Pink/Black Left Kick Panel
Passenger Unlock Pink/Purple Left Kick Panel

It's not that hard, like anything new take your time. Check twice, cut once. The longest part is going to be wiring up the door locks, just time consuming having to run a few extra wires.

Sorry its a long post.

i know that i dont need the relays. the alarm will deal with the reverse polarity. now, on the alarm i dont care about the aspect of one click unlocks the driver door and two clicks opens both. do you know if there is a way i can just make it so both doors will just be treated as the same lock?

should be able to program the remote to do that, refer the owners manual for programming instructions.

sounds like your set otherwise.

put your voltmeter on it and see volts or ohms changes when you push lock and unlock

more than likely that's the wire, but check to be safe

sometimes they change wire colors, or the traces, depending on when it was made

ok, i got the door locks working and everything is good with that.

as for the parking lights coming on, the wire i have tapped for it only has power when the switch in the cab is turned on... i tapped the wire i was supposed to but for some reason it doesnt work. i checked volts and it is getting power, but not when the switch is off, as you might expect!

ok, another update. i got the parking lights to work with the alarm. after testing wires and everything and tryin to figure out why it wouldnt work, i decided to mess around a bit. i look at the two fuses the manufacturer has on the alarm to handle the power going through for the lights. i figure, just for the heck of it, i would put in some bigger fuses since the parking lights also run power for my cab lights and for my PIAA's. once i swapped fuses, DING DING DING!!!! so, i am now done messing with this stupid alarm and know that i will always avoid vehicle electrical as much as possible!!!!
