Ok guys I found a set of 17 by 10 moto metal wheels. The guy said it come off a 99 ford f 350. And I have a 2003 dodge 2500. Now I know some ford wheels wont fit. I called a few places and they said if the wheels where tapered where the studs come thru then they would fit my dodge? they said if the wheels are not tapered then it is metric. this is so? any help would be nice. I can pick them up cheap it they will work.

Sounds like what he was describing is the wheels using tapered lugnuts, which simply means they are lugcentric wheels. Most all aftermarket wheels are lugcentric and this has nothing to do with the bolt pattern. What you need to know is if the Ford and your Ram have the same bolt pattern.
