A 2022 with 10k miles & tons of upgrades.

I understand that a regular cab pickup isn't the most desirable configuration.

I don't understand why someone would build a truck like this. Drive it 10k miles & sell (besides the obvious loss of job or some other situation).
As a regular cab dually lover I just don't understand. Can I get some other views/ opinions on what you think of this.
Thanks.

Valid; but not truly the question to be honest.
Why would you build that & then sell for a loss. It has potential but I don't understand why someone would do that...

Upgrades are supposed to make something better. In this case somebody took a useful pickup, then threw a bunch of money at it, which made it relatively useless.

I understand most of the items used weren't useful/ quality. I still have yet to understand what would make someone build such a specific truck & then turn around and sell it. If it were a SEMA build it is a marketing expense. This just seems foolish...

My thought is a young adult that got a lump some of money like settlement, inheritance, etc.

Truck sounded like a great idea till he smoked his whole bag and realized he’s broke again.

I work with a guy that financed a $70k F150, at 19 years old. And then sold it at a tremendous loss because the payments sucked. And has continued that process more times than I can count, with every shiny object imaginable. As they say, a fool and his money will soon be separated

People are notoriously horrible with money. Dumb decisions, poor investments and a general lack of common sense.

More than likely, she couldn't actually afford it, or could no longer afford it. Possible she decided the single cab was a bad idea and in this market they could get all her money back?

Wouldnt be a bad truck for towing but the lift kit ruined its towing capabilites. I dont understand why you would want to lift a drw truck with 37 inch tires, it makes no sense to me at all. Lets not forget about the price tag 89K? Yeah no thank you.

Not nearly to the extent of the truck you posted but that’s how I found my truck. The gentleman that had it trades every 3-6 months. He had 9,000 miles on the truck and had already put Fox 2.0’s on it plus a leveling kit with 35’s. A friend of his is the manager at a dealership and I bought it through them. I have mutual friends with the original owner so was able to verify the truck. He had to have lost money where I saved $15K.

Who is that stupid to swap a truck every 3-6 months that makes 0 sense especially if he mods them. He would lose so much

I agree. All I can think of is he’s a farmer and writes off the losses on taxes. That’s also the main reason I double checked on the truck through our mutual friend. And he never used this truck on the farm. Strictly a go to town truck. There’s zero specks of anything on the frame. Worked out for me because I only put 3000-4000 miles a year on my personal truck due to driving my work truck everywhere.

FYI, It may not have been the original owner who installed all of the addons you see on the truck, we have a place here in the metro Portland OR area that buys trucks cheap, then they add big tires an wheels & lift kits just like the above truck and they make good $$$ doing so....
