Why so many Recall
Okay guys, I have gotten another recall on my 2022 3500 are their anybody else getting a lot of recall, it seem like since day one something have been going on.

This is good to hear, I'm really not towing with it anyway, well, I should say heavy because I traded in out 5th wheel and bought a 2022 Class A motorhome, but I like to have the option if I had to I will have no problem.Exactly.
Supposedly this same event can happen with the older trucks. Thing is, there’s a lot more idiot drivers now who don’t monitor temps and don’t care about CELs. Thus, FCA has to do their best to make the truck idiot proof.
Imagine an HD Tundra with a Cummins…The wife and I was looking at one when we were out driving, they show do look nice, I would like to have a heavy duty one a 1 ton.

I had '07 Tundra. It was a fantastic truck. It was a half ton of course because that's all they offered. That poor truck pulled and hauled stuff it shouldn't have; too often... beautifully (and illegally). Never had any problems with it outside of brakes and leaf springs (COMPLETELY MY FAULT) I sold it at 255,000 kms (approx 150,000 mi) and the kid drove it for another 6 years. Then I bought my Ram 3500 at the end of '15. Far better truck for me ... biggest surprise... My Tundra and my Cummins got the exact same fuel milage. 15 mpg. Totally stock Tundra, Ram with 6" lift running 35's in the winter and 37's in the summer. (14 mpg w 37's) no delete.... but now gas is much cheaper than diesel.. lolThe wife and I was looking at one when we were out driving, they show do look nice, I would like to have a heavy duty one a 1 ton.
Am I the only one that thinks if a vehicle sits at a dealership for warranty or recalls that every day it sits there should be added to the warranty term?
@ Krs, I agree, I had to go to the dealership today because they weren't taking my call, but they had to order the parts he said that it might be here in about two months, whattttttt, are you kidding me, it is what it is I guess. The dealer said that what it is, is the dipstick sometime can blow out when it gets too hot and might cause a fire, but he said that he hasn't. heard of any truck causing fire, hmmm, he said that if I just drive around town and not tow where the engine gets too hot, I will be okay.
So here we go again playing the waiting game so I guess I will wait, I mean, what choice do I have, if I were a betting man I would bet that another one will come soon.

So what if you bought your truck to tow. I bet it would be worth bringing that up with a lawyer. The way it is getting now one may have left their truck at the dealership for up to 6 months during the warranty period. I would laugh if it brought on a class action.

I am aware that this instance it isn't at the dealership waiting for parts. But for many it is the situation.Truck isn't going to be at dealer for two months, you are just waiting for parts. It isn’t going to catch fire if you don’t overheat it. You don’t even have a CP4.

I love the truck; I will give it one more change and see I have a good amount of money tie up in this truck I'm not ready to give that up and though I probably can get pretty good of amount for it I'm not ready to start over, I don't tow with it anyway since I traded in my 5th wheel for a motorhome so no worry.

My '15 had a number of recalls.. tailgate, fuel pump, turbo actuator, 3 reflashes, and at least 2 other things I cant remember. It also had a bunch of warranty work... rear main seal, ball joints before 20,000 kms, actuator, seat belt 2x's, back up camera, mirror screen, cargo camera, fuel filter sensor, and a bunch of other things I can't remember ( One trip alone to the dealer had 14 items). On none of those occasions did the dealer have my truck for more than a day or 2. They ordered parts and called me in for 8am appt when they had the parts in. Usually I had the truck back by noonish. Rear main took 2 days. Its a lack of organization and ethics at the dealer if you are leaving a truck for long periods of time...

This is completely correct. The 2022 RAM with Aisin trans has a potential snap ring failure from "thrown together".Thats what happens when things are thrown together and way overcomplicated its only going to get worse as the years progress

I agree, and I was not happy about any of it! It's not just a case of "thrown" together; its a horrible case of parts by the lowest bidder. Too much crap made in China and nowhere near enough MADE IN AMERICA! My Tundra was built in Texas! I had 2 recalls in 9 years, the floor mats and the intake valve. The only other money I put in that truck in 150,000 miles was regular maintenance, 2 sets of brakes all around (better than average wear IMO), tires, Krown rust prevention every year, cat back Borla exhaust, and a set of leaf springs which was an overload of stone over railway tracks.. aka stupid. I am almost at 150,000 miles on my Ram and I have a rather thick file folder of receipts and work orders. 10 times the Tundra, easily. But what are ya gonna do? I bought a Cummins... unfortunately it came wrapped in a RAM! lol Not saying I don't love my truck, cause I do! I am just really disappointed in the quality. I considered trading in and getting a new truck, but I spent a little too much time on here and I just don't have the energy to trade demons. I KNOW what my truck has and needs... These new ones?..... wow.. just seems like problems out the wah zoo! just MO.None of those things should be happening. Outrageous number of things going wrong with a vehicle so new. I will Amen to your statement, I hate buying stuff from China it seem like everything you pick up were made in China.
