I think w/ a long driveshaft, it's harder to get the right balance/runout/etc. probably run into different harmonics, etc.

Why did dodge use a center (carrier) bearing on the driveshaft.
Can anyone answer that question? What are the benefits of a center bearing (carrier) such a thing?
