Thanks.

Heard about the dinner the other day but already had plans for tomarrow night, will have to make next month's. I drive a 1997 ex cab longbox. Picked her up a month ago. She is all stock except for exhaust. Has 89,000 original miles and the auto was rebuilt in 2002 by a dodge dealership. Planning on ordering a Goerend complete tranny from Dave and hate to send him a purfectly good stock tranny as a core, so not sure what to do there yet.
Where is Big Twin and Pat located? The only big twin I know of is a motorcycle shop.

Thanks for all the help.

yes, the info was posted at the idaho club website Diesel Bombers - Idaho Bombers

we have been gathering together putting on events since 2002. dyno days. camp trips. BOMB/wrench parties. dinner meets. sled pulls.

we have a busy callender this year and have a lot lined up. :D

cummins powered trucks are in the majority at the idaho club and always have been with a good number, [majority] of those 12 valves.

our members are a good helpful bunch of nice guys.

keep watching idaho turbo diesels and here for idaho diesel event info.

oh, and for a good tranny guru locally give me a pm. this guy really does club members right on tranny work and he knows what he is doing on trannys for high powered cummins.

also can probably arrange to swap with one of the ITD members your good factory trans with someone who needs it instead of wasting usable parts. benefit you and someone in need.

you are one lucky guy to have a 97 with those low miles. that truck is a keeper.

Go with Dave at Ultimate trans!!! He is in Boise and does amazing work. And he is local so you wont have to worry about shipping or installing!
