just got my truck back from the shop becasue i got a new front cover on(who would have thought) and was on my way home and i let it warm up by driving her easy then i got on it when it was in temp range, and out ouf no where i lose power and cloud 3 lanes with white smoke. i limped it back in 3rd gear at 2000 rpms hazed white pushing 23psi of boost. do you think the timing slipped? what could have happened? when replacing the cover, the cam came out and he said he marked the gears to keep the timing the same. Waited 2 weeks for it to get out now its back in:doh:

Sounds like the fuel pump gear has slipped. When ever you pull the fuel pump off and you are ready to install it you need to make sure that the fuel pump shaft and gear have NO oil on it. I take contact cleaner and spray the shaft and gear. This dries it up and leaves no oil film. I would check the pump timing.
