I only drive around 150miles a week, daily driver truck, the only thing i "haul" is my quad and small boat... ive been meaning to get the gauge pack, but thought i would wait until i got the programmer, since most of them come with digital gauges for EGT, boost etc.... i only hammer the pedal every once and a while, when needed (or wanted), but never rape the thing, babied if anything.....

You baby it now but just wait until you can blow smoke in a subaru's window at any speed. I used to baby mine too. Power changes a man. As for your question get gauges first or in a package deal with a programmer. Gauges will save even a stock truck.
