Looking into getting a Boost Fooler which one do you guys recommend? Also do they help out with the egts?? Thanks for any input guys!!!!
Whats up man, I see your in PC  best fooler by far is Quadzilla, great price, works awesome, The Pred does not have the BF built in, buy one, its only $50-$60, it fools the ECM and prevents a defuel, on the 05 with the pred, and the fooler you should see 35+ psi,it will lower EGTs by 75-300* but since you have 3 injections it wont be too cool, but the fooler is better than nothingLooking into getting a Boost Fooler which one do you guys recommend? I doubt you see much of a difference with the mani. It may not be worth a few EGTs for the price. Which one you getting? If your planning on heavy mods later down the road, it may not be a bad idea to go ahead and get it out of the way, but if you plan on sticking with what you got, dont waste your $$ya man my man concern is to get them egts down it makes plenty of boost, im hoping when i get that exhaust manifold it will help too!
Throw the fooler on, and leave it in the tow tune, until you get a clutch:thumbsup:ok well i got the cfm tonight so everything in my sig will be on the truck i have the boost fooler siting inthe back seat, i have the predator on tow tune and the clutch slips should i hold off to put the boost fooller on or will i be ok, just keep the egts downa bit?
Get a used one off of a forum member and save yourself some money, unless you just really have to have the brand name:thumbsup:Ya i need one anyway because mine is starting to crack around the egt probe, so it needs to be done! I was looking at BD and PDI. Im going to do more mods later down the road when money comes.
They are the exact SAME thing, only diff, 1 is $85 and the other is $60i was lookin at foolers myself i keep my predator on tow as well, was leanin towards the bd, but yall think the quadzilla is better for the money?
Ill do you one better. If you are planning on twins later, go with a second gen mani theyre about $100 on this forum. They give a CR a unique sound also, but it is the most common mani used in a compound setup :thumbsup:Ya i think ima go ahead and get the aftermarket and be done with it! (Ram 89) I would leave it on tow because i burnt up my stock auto tranny and i left mine on performance tune! I broke my U joints after i got the tranny rebuilt tho when i ran it on extreme tho...lol o well
Yeah actually there is a sled pull this sat in wauchula, wanna meet up and head down there?(Torque Monster) do you know of any diesel events in our area or even close??
