Hey BBRam Butt head, where is the gear ratio listed in a 08 Megacab,.....i looked everywhere and still can't find it :confused013:

I thought I heard someone at one time say it was listed someplace in the glove box but if not, you can contact the dealer and ask them to run your VIN and they should be able to give you the ratio. The other option is try and get a copy of your build sheet by going here http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/6...on/168667-how-get-your-dodge-build-sheet.html

but I have emailed them twice in the last week and a half with no response other than an automated one saying they recieved my request.

the glove box is the first place i looked but nothing :confused013:

i guess i'll try and run the VIN to see what it comes up with :thumbsup:

from what i can find the VIN won't give you Gear Ratio ? :confused013:

Im looking at 08 also, i asked owner & he doenst know his ratio....Said his truck got about 13 -15 so i figure its 4.1...I may go with the 07,, less miles & slt verus sxt (08).

The blatant abuse of power is rampant in here.:buttkick:

Put a mark on the driveshaft, mark on the tire, roll forward one driveshaft revo and see how many turns of the tire.

you might have to dummy that up somemore, you are talking to a canadian that hangs out with ram and fart so we know he's not the smartest:rof:hehe:

Have you checked under the hood. I know it sounds crazy, but they may have put the sticker there, instead of in the Glove Box.

It would look similar to this.
