If there isnt a fitting on the compressor housing then there should be a boost refrence line from the turbo wastegate to the afc on the injection pump. The owner before you probably disabled the wastegate.

The owner before you probably disabled the wastegate.I also just noticed, on my new to me '96, that the waste gate actuator has no hose on it. I was thinking "Good, so that means it's not working and there is a boost leak on the compressor side. This may solve my problems."

But, there is no fitting on my compressor housing for the hose. The tag says HX35W. Why do they put a tag on the compressor housing that says it has a waste gate, but no fitting on the housing? What gives? What do I do with the hose?
