I have all the access I need to different mufflers and 5" exhaust pipe and I wanna do a custom exhaust with Donaldson mufflers. I don't however have a bender, where could I get a 5" downpipe?
dont think they make a 2nd gen 5" cuz its so tight, im sure they are out there, but a 4" will do just fine, and then after the downpipe you can 5" back
The fascination is with sound, and even though there's only a 4" turbine flange your still gonna flow air better. Do a google search on friction loss. Mount a pressure gauge on your garden hose faucet. Hook up a regular size garden hose 25' long to it turn the faucet on full and record the pressure. Now hook up a 1.25" hose to the same faucet 25' long and open the faucet up again and record the pressure. Even though there's the same amount of water coming out the hose it's not pressurized as much. Now 4"-5" exhaust won't make a huge difference but it does make some. Mostly exhaust tone though
