THe salary would by necessity follow the country of origin. The question becomes are you willing to pay more to help your own countrymen or is money more important than anything. Particularly when you consider aftermarket wheels are hardly a necessity.

I certainly don't mind supporting my fellow countrymen, but in the process I'm often forced to also support something I'm against.

Consumers want to pay less. We sometimes confuse economical with cheap, but the goal is understandable. Just as culpable in the grand scheme are stockholders hell bent on instant gratification. Quarterly reporting, profits, dividends, all need to be "just so" or the management gets whipped. Cost cutting to squeeze the last penny out of a widget is the norm instead of value, "reasonable" profit (I know... who decides what is reasonable?), and stability for a workforce. And no, I am not a socialist. Capitalism works, and can work for all, if we strike that balance between our greed and their greed.
