Whats the difference between 03 injectors and 06 injectors?

Is the tip/ spray angle the only difference? I know 2003 and 2004 had only 2 injection events and 04.5 and up had 3 injection cycles, but are the injectors different?

03-04 injectors are 8 hole, 04.5-up are 5 hole. Angulation and spray pattern are different, put the wrong injector nozzle in, and spray pattern and angulation is significantly different, you will melt down an engine. Pretty sure warranty work would be a hell no, on that one!

So if I put 50hp tips for an 07 injector into an 03 injectors body for an 07 with a 5.9 everything should work. I already have a used set of 03 injectors that were starting hard (cranked over too long for me) so I replaced them last summer.
