I just thought i would give my opinion! i loved my 5.9L ....until...... i got a 6.7 and WOW i will never go back. 5.9's are soon to be forgotten in the next 10 years. yea the 6.7's have all the emissions bull $&!% on but once all that is removed these trucks are pure beasts. the new fords and gm's need to go hide somewhere in the dark and cut their wrists! cummins 6.7L :beer

I think this is a question that will be answered at the track over the next few years. Will the 6.7 be able to make the big power like the 5.9 can without coming apart?

i am really curious to find out, 6.7's are the next generation of cummins and the creators of the cummins diesels have always made better trucks when the generations change so i dont doubt the 6.7 at all plus its made from like 40% of the 5.9 parts and the 5.9 was and still id the leader (so far).

The problems going to be the rods, if they will hold then yes it will out power the 5.9 but all ready been proved they wont hold over 1000 hp ask reb brown he knows, and yes they are a beast

i think the question. is how much is it going to cost to make the 6.7 a killer. I think the 5.9 will have more power dollar for dollar. But if the money is not a issue 6.7 is the way to go. IPD has a 600hp on the ground kit for the 6.7 but its 10,000 dollars, one thing is for certain, a 6.7 makes a ton more torque over a 5.9 once you start adding hp to it.
