I've built and repaired dash pad before and never had any real luck with something that holds up to heat and abuse for the long term and matching the darn pattern will drive you nuts.But the best patch resin I found was from the PPG paint supply store(don't remember what it was called though). Try your local automotive paint store and see what they recommend.
I would pull the entire dash out... Then plastic weld the crack closed again. But during the plastic welding I would push hardware mesh into the plastic to give it strength again. Then fiberglass over the repair on the inside to give it more strength to keep it from cracking again...
But this is going to take awhile a long while...:w:
