Which spools faster Bd Super Special, Silver 62, or a twin set up utilizing the stock turbo like the ATS 4000 compound? I would like to be around 600rwhp with very little to no lag. My truck is a daily driver and the only thing I Haul is A$$.

Stocker over S400 74mm. The special is a 64/71/14 and is kinda slow at low RPMs bu will scream up high. The silver 62 is 62/73.4/14 and has some lag but will flow fairly good. The stocker over an S400 or HTB3 will spool very quick and flow a ton of air and lower EGTs for towing. Unless you get a cam for the special or silver 62 I'd go with stocker/S400 or HTB3. With 90hp sticks and a good programmer with arson 3 and an Airdog 150....

Can I run the dual set up with what is in my sig plus, Air Dog 150, and just the Bag of parts for the CP3 for now or is it mandatory to also get injectors?

You can do that and it would work. However your tranny isn't gonna like them with it being an auto. Do you have any transmission upgrades? Or is it just completely stock?

Honestly if I was you. I would go ahead and start with your transmission first and get that taken care of and out of the way. I would look into a Torque Converter and Valve Body as well as an input shaft and depending on how much you tow, I would look into an output just for safety precautions. The 48RE tranny is only good for only 65hp or so over stock. You get those few upgrades that I mentioned above.. you should never have to worry about your transmission. Safety is a very very big thing in my book, lol.

Other than that. I completely and totally agree with everything that cummins04.5andshaker said you could also look into the stocker over A5k setup which would be another great combination of compounds if you want more information about the aurora's let me know they are a freaking sweet turbo in my opinion has served me incredibly well in my setup as a single so I know it would be great which a compound. But all in all you get that tranny safeguarded and you're good to go.

what spools faster ? thats hard to answer & not quite that cut & dry programming & injectors & supporting mods with 600 hp as your goal
which spools faster could be questionable

i think you could build a stock/s474 to prob get the nod for quickest to spool out of that bunch

but you could make the truck tuned right with the Super B Special pretty darn close

and the silver same thing not far behind the Special

the special wails on the top end

but my testing experience recently has proven that

BD Super B Special with it's extended tip technology

64.5-71-14 is not slow to spool even at lower rpm's

in fact it's actually slightly more responsive in the lower rpms then my high tech 62-71-13ss was that
I just sold :confused013:

& with some moderate programming & even 50-70 hp injectors the super B special spools really quick

now I do agree the silver is sleepy @ lower rpms
but the Special is night & day faster to spool then a silver at lower rpms

depending on the configuration of the Primary in the twin turbo setup & other mods twins may or may not spool significantly faster then a just the single
Super B Special .....

the twin turbo route is definitely the best of all worlds
if there setup right , but it's more expensive to start & complete

getting all the supporting mods out of the way first should be the plan of attack to begain

then start thinking about getting a turbo that will work well for the hp goals & needs you have now

but a turbo that down the road you could also use in a twin setup if you decided later to take that $$ plunge & go for the twin set
