I am considering buying a retractable tonneau cover, and a place 45 minutes away carries both the Retrax and the Roll-N-Lock brands, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these. I can also order in Truxedo covers through my dad and also get a tool box that fits under the cover through the same company. I know I do not want the fiberglass cover due to bed space restrictions, but I do not know what I really want. Opinions?

I have a tonno pro roll up cover, love it. Only been on for a couple months now, but seems quality. There is a 10 year warranty on the fabric so hoping it won't rot to quickly here in vegas.

Not sure where you live but I had a hell of a time with the Roll n Lock in the winter. With the freeze, thaw cycle here, I found it would ice up and wouldn't retract. I also had issues with the lock freezing making it impossible to access the bed since the cover latches to the tailgate in the locked position. I also had an issue with the cover of the can flipping up towards the back glass in a car wash when I was going through the dryer. Luckily the glass didn't shatter but I put a couple self tapping screws into the lid of the can so it wouldn't happen again. I now have a Bak Flip F1 and couldn't be happier. Works in the winter just as well as in the summer months. It isn't affected nearly as much as the Roll n Lock was.

I've had a few different hard folding type covers. Mopar, extang solid fold and the bak flip I have now is the best cover out of all them hands down. Works great in the winter months as well.

I have a rollnlock. Winter does yave its issues with it. I keep the snow brushed off it and mostl times have no troubles with it. The lock onmine engages the track so I can still get thru the tailgate if necessary. Went with the explorer rails so I can run a rack above the cover.
