What this section is about. . . PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING!

The purpose of this custom tuning subforum is to allow people utilizing custom tuning software such as h&s MCC or EFI live to tune their trucks to ask tuning-related questions without them getting pushed back by all the other performance questions, build threads, and whatnot.

As an example threads involving injection timing, rail pressure, turbo maps, or an issue getting the right fuelling in a certain rpm and throttle range are considered tuning related while anything involving hard parts would be considered performance parts, or one of the other sections.

While we can't stop anyone from posting whatever they want here we hope it shapes some decisions on where things are posted. This section doesn't receive near the amount of traffic as the other sections, so a pressing hard part question that may be answered quickly in the regular performance parts section might not have their question answered until much later in this section

This subforum is for technical questions about HOW tuning works, tune theories, DIY tuners more or less...

Not how someone likes so and so's latest tune or which tune device to buy. Leave that in the performance section.


Come on guys, this subforum is HOW/WHY tables are changed DIY or Pro tuners alike.

This is NOT the section for asking whose tunes to run, what programming device you should buy, how to get performance without voiding warranties, etc...
