yea tell me bout it i was running late to work the other day and diesel was 4.17 i didnt have time to fill when i got off work 9hrs later diesel was up to 4.65. They are gonna keep doing this crap because oil is like our blood, we need it, they have it, so they can charge what ever they want because we are still gonna buy it. if 90% of the nations population would take a weeks vacations at the same time and not leave the house for a week. I bet theyd think twice about royally butt humpin us at the pump.

I think that the earthquake in china might have something to do with this jump... From what i heard they are running generators to power the cities that were hit, therefore driving the demand up.. This could be bs but it makes sense

They must have gotten a delivery of fuel that night. Once a station gets a tank full they must charge a certain percent over what they paid in order to make a profit. The reason it jumped so much is not because of that particular station but the oil company they bought from charged them that much more for the fresh tank of diesel.

It is crap. I have noticed that it seems the gas stations change prices on Wednesday mornings, watching and pertisapaitng in Texas Gas Prices. If your ever in San Angelo, check Sam's Club, usually 6 to 15 cents cheaper than any other place.

What percentage of that was taxes? And would that be considered socialism at its best?

I don't know. We have Federal Excise tax, Goods and sevices tax, provincial tax, carbon emmisions tax, some other road tax. Have I missed anything?? Canadains are stupid enough to take it up the a$$ all the time, only complain about it at home over some beers with friends. Then tell the world how happy we are to have such freedom. Freedom will soon be a word of the past if we keep letting this happen.

O.K. I feel better now that I got that off my chest
