You can run a CI-4 oil if you can find it. You can also run CI-4 oil in your 07.5 trucks but will cause the dpf to fill up 33% faster. Pick the oil that you want rather it be synthetic or conventional. Most people are going to go with Rotella.

I normally run valvoline premium blue. I believe the store brand oil at walmart is still CI, the fleet oil at Tractor supply may also be CI, can't remember for sure.

I've been running it since the first oil change. Might have started a bit early, so the engine may take a lot longer to break in. Otherwise I love it, although costly.

Yeah I run Royal Purple 15w40 as well !! Works great. Also have it in Tranny, front & Rear Diffs now need to change the transfer case to it !!
