This is for my 05 dually that usually sees 15-20K miles of long travel a year. I don't want it louder I want it better. Driving a truck for 12 hours straight the last thing anybody wants is the CTD to be louder than it already is. I want to see a MPG difference and the largest egt decrease possible by means of an intake.
So lets hear what you guys have and how well it is working for you. Thanks, Jason

i really like my afe stage 2 pro guard 7
thank you for saving me the time of typing that:thumbsup

ive been very happy with mine and I saw 2-3 mpg increase with the exhaust

I swapped the OEM air hole with an ICEBOX, torque toob and amsoil 4091. Any high flow torque toob and filter will be a major upgrage from stock. Even gutting the factory toob and installing a BHAF are supposed to make a real difference.

The only real argument I think is whether the cold air box makes a difference and/or to go oiled or dry on the filter.

I got an afe stage 2/w pro guard filter, its a nice set up and easy to install. But honestly, If there is a difference in power I really can't tell. I think you'll benefit from it when you put a bigger turbo and push alot of fuel through your engine. Just my opinion, could be wrong. The only thing I noticed for sure is I heard my turbo whistle more.

Tunno Cover, Edge Mileagemax Over my stock 5.9 I got about 1MPG each, see if you can stack your chip with this edge one. Try runnin Diesel Kleen through for a tank or too and see if that helps out at all.
