the 5" is gonna have a deeper tone to it. I dont imagine you are running enough power to fully utilize the 5" exhaust so the choice is just a matter of $ and tone. 4" doesnt sound bad, just not as deep.
Sound is mild, but (of coarse) quite a bit of an improvement over stock. The truck runs great, but as comp has mentioned with his setup, I run out of fuel on top and you better pay attention to EGT's. I have an airdog in the garage but (I know, I know!) I haven’t installed it yet. The main reason I want the 5" is because of all the things everyone is saying about the sound. I must say, I'm a little jealous of everyone that's got the 5". My 4" is great, sounds like a jet during decel but I know it could sound better.
