What do you mean register to tow. Here you hook up and go. I get over length permits for when I pull doubles. That alows me to go to 78 feet. Just on that it says 12k. They told me at the scales I can up it to what ever I want when I register my truck but they said if I ever got stoped they will only check my permit and pull out a tape mesure.

Really? Here in idaho we have to register to pull up to a certain amount of weight, just like a big rig. When you register your truck you csn register it to pull up to maby 30k. It goes up in increments, and sup does the cost, quite a bit.
